Small Group Ministry

The objective of the Small Group Ministry is to encourage and facilitate small group growth and participation within the SCVJCC. Small groups provide an opportunity to meet with fellow Christians in a more personal, smaller setting than is possible in a traditional church service. It allows us to connect more closely as individuals and share our experiences, thoughts, and needs. Through small groups - also known as cell groups - we can establish closer, more meaningful relationships with each other and provide mutual support and fellowship. Ultimately, through this Christian setting, we can strengthen and deepen our spiritual relationship with God.

To support and facilitate small-group discussions, we offer a video library with various titles. Click on the Small Group Resources List to see the resources available for loan to church members (Please note that we do not sell these videos, they were purchased and are mainly for small groups or our congregation use).

Bible Study Groups

We have several Bible Study groups that meet during the week. If you are interested in any of these, use the Cell Group Request Form to indicate your interests and availability to join a small group.

Wednesdays

Campbell 8 - 10 am (Men)

Campbell 7:30 pm (Adults)

San Jose 7:30 - 9 pm (Adults)

Sunnyvale 7:30 pm (Adults)

Campbell 7:30 - 9:15 pm (Women)

Various locations 7:30 pm (Young Adults Careers Group)

Thursdays

Campbell 7 - 9 pm (Adults) except 3rd Thursday of the month

Fridays

Campbell 10:30 am (Senior Women)

Location varies 7:30 pm Adults (for the Young at Heart)
