International Family Fellowship (IFF)

IFF is a faith based fellowship activity bringing together international and intercultural families for enjoyable events throughout the year. Through these events and deepening friendships we help each other with the language, food, values and other cultural challenges of adjusting to life in America and the demands of raising children in Silicon Valley. It's IFF's desire to build strong families and demonstrate God's love through supporting one another.

In addition to activities like our Thanksgiving Dinner and Spring Event, IFF also realized the need for support and encouragement through small groups where people can share their feelings and thoughts in a safe environment. Now, we have an IFF Men’s small group and two IFF Women’s small groups.

	IFF Men’s Group (leaders – Dan Schumacher and Dwight Griffin) Studying God’s Word and Building Fellowship – This is a group for the husbands in IFF who want to share their faith, bolster their faith, or find their faith. In this group, spiritual questions and day-to-day problems can be shared openly and honestly without criticism. God’s word is studied and discussed, and pretty amazing insights are shared from all corners of faith. Fellowship building dinners, hikes, and other activities are planned and shared. The group now meets every 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month.
IFF Women’s groups (leader – Makiko Dua) These prayer meetings were created to support Japanese Christian Women to adjust to life in America and live happily through prayers and friendship. We will also welcome seekers who need prayers from these Christian women.
	Experience the Power of Prayer by a Praying Wife – This group is for Japanese Christian wives who want to pray for their husbands and children in their daily living. We will study how to apply Bible verses to our practical lives as women, wives and mothers. We meet every first Tuesday of the month from 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon at church. Experience the Power of Prayer by a Praying Woman – This group is for Japanese Christian women who want to pray and learn how to apply Bible verses to their busy working places, school, and daily living. We meet every second Saturday of the month from 9:30 AM - 11: 30 AM at church. IFF Women's Fellowship "Mitsubasa"(leader - Nozomi Bedford) This group meets every second Thursday of the month at a Mountain View location.
